I imagine that ostensibly, it’s meant to show a true contrast: look at the dumby-dumb thing they believe (unlike us who believe all the true things). But you can imagine the PragerU social media intern screenshotting that tweet and incorporating it into the same meme format (and the Gravelteens screenshotting that etc ad infinitum).
ETA like a neutral reading of the format, it seems to me, suggests that both ideas presented are false. So unless you have an unstated premise that the top entry is wrong in some way other than being false or misfounded (in this case, “We don’t actually advocate political correctness” or something), then it looks that way to me.

Yea, there’s a potential timeline where dems take the senate and enact a new voting rights act and we spend the next decade watching the GOP slowly decline into oblivion, but in any other timeline, the fact that 35% of Americans believe that joe Biden is trying to lead a communist takeover of America leads to some awful outcomes.
Office 365 has been renamed to Office 364 as the authentication servers have been down for the last 2 hours.
Though this is a leap year so they may still be able to hold onto Office 365 on a technicality.

Back to December is a Taylor Swift song about time travel so she’s ok afaic.
Glad you posted this. I thought I was the only one having trouble with my work email on my phone.
Part of me thinks Lydon just can’t stop wanting to annoy people and that the sanctification of punk and its subsumption into the bourgeois canon of respectability left him with nowhere else to go; if he was bashing Trump, people would love it.
The rest of me thinks he’s been a property developer for twenty-five years and the truth is things are mostly what they look like lol.

My friend who is an American Airlines captain posted that all three legs flown today by 3 different crews were entirely unmanned.

Reverse cargo cult is basically in that one line “Those silly Americans actually believe their airstrip made of concrete and steel will yield cargo. But not you, clever people. You know it is all a lie.”
It’s basically giving people a flimsy excuse to believe a false equivalence which makes them feel better to believe. Sneering at the other side’s naiveté is key.
This may be that. But I’m not clear what is going on.
I like her first two albums and went to a concert with my two daughters when they were like 10/12 and it was great.
It’s definitely different than what I have heard from her before. I actually used a song from it in the most recent walrus.
Also, she co-wrote the songs. Let’s not diminish her input. I’m not a huge fan but one thing I do respect about her is she writes a lot of her own stuff.
