I’ve always struggled to find background music to work to. I’ve tried jazz, opera, classical, generic pop/rock. I’ve never settled on anything.
Right now, I’m trying a nature sounds channel. But since I’m sitting in my basement office, hearing all this heavy rain and water is making me paranoid that my basement walls are leaking and my house is going to collapse.
Watching golf on a Thursday morning.
Downside it is
Needs lawn care equipment interspersed - and the occasional garbage truck banging around - and that’s my work medley.
I like more chill electronic music.

Trivia tidbit. Before Franz Liszt pianists would generally sit with their backs to the audience, but he was a rock star and didn’t want to deny the audience his profile and since then pianos are generally put sideways.
