It doesn’t count as hoarding if it’s in somebody else’s house imo.

Hoarding by proxy.

Oh Shit! Dragon Magazine!

I definitely had a subscription

My stepdad saw some news report about kids playing Dungeons and Dragons and committing suicide over it. He was terrified I’d get into it. I definitely would have had to hide it from him.

Luckily for him all my friends were just garden variety loser druggie petty criminals. No D&D nerds here!

betamaxes might be worth a few bucks (glancing at ebay only star wars might be worth it for you), that sim citys gotta be worth something too (may not be an easy quick sell though since its a floppy).

uh, hat trick unopened I just searched 10 w/ship lol

Definitely dont just hand over donkey kong though but its maybe 35 or something. (though your box isnt mint of course) atari just never got the following nintendo did, if only heh

boxing no idea probably not much shrugs Yeah some atari are worth a lot but they have to be at least relatively rare.

damn wish I was anywhere near you Id make some offer for some of the stuff anyway.

Really depends on how you value time/$/hr and all that what you want to do.

LOL at saving the Newsweeks. That could’ve been your gateway collection to a lifetime of hoarding.

Someone is trying to sell that Donkey Kong game unopened for $100 on eBay, but $30-40 might be a more reasonable expectation.

My stepmom had 100s of these:

A whole room in their house was stuff like this piled so high there was a trail through it to get to the bathroom.

Spankability rating for when no actual porn was available?

newsweeks, well maybe a few are worth like a sandwich, reagan election /michael jackson/etc. your dragon magazines are over a buck each though but maybe not much more than that idk that stuff. Mad Magazines probably similar to dragon.

Zero. Look for Redbook or Cosmopolitan. Bra section of the JC Penney catalog if things get really desperate.

I had a number of subscriptions simultaneously when I was a teenager. While I saved the hobby magazines (mostly monthlies), I’m pretty sure I threw away the sports and news weeklies after they’d start piling up.

I had a couple hundred fishing mags and several hundred climbing mags until I grew up and got rid of them. At around age 40.

I’m guessing there’s a lot of stuff I could sell for a buck or two, but it seems like a lot of work for not much return. I haven’t even looked at all the actual books yet. There will definitely be some first printings of Stephen King in there.

only magazine sub I ever had was SI for kids, apparently the tony hawk card is like $20, I didn’t keep those either of course. I stopped before Woods and obviously Lebron’s though which are a lot more than they really have any right to be. Graded 9 on the woods, 2k. Like what in the ****

Oh sure I don’t bother with magazines myself. Just letting you know some may not be entirely worthless and you can make your own decision.

for me, I’d be thankful that your mom even saved that shit for 30 years, especially newsweek. lmao I’d have thrown the magazines out at least if I was her a long time ago.

hopefully hardcover not paperback. Latter you may not find worth it for some.

also Kamala Harris died but it’s the wrestler Kamala

Stephen King first prints of his early books can be worth a lot. Problem is they need to be in good condition. If you stumble on a Salems Lot with a 8.95 price tag then that would be $60k.
