Fox News being a straight up rape factory does not get enough attention. The facts are astonishing, like literally every dude there is a sex criminal. Imagine what Bill O’Reilly did to pay out $32 million! Ailes probably paid 9 figures in settlements. And that fucker Pete Hegseth is a 100% lock to be abusive.
You can read all about it. Dude loved his phone sex.
Also, have you ever watched her show? She bullies the guests by trying to force them into revealing private details and then turns passive aggressive if they refuse to answer. This stunt she pulled was particularly awful but not out of character for her:
Do any of those stories have to do with rumors of her being a controlling and emotionally abusive spouse?
Yes.
yea, grunching here but it can be a polarizing game if you don’t get it right. i’ve gotten IRL friends (non-internet-dorks) to play several times, often as a drinking game, and imo it is way more fun when it’s absurd stuff that wouldn’t have a sense of competency associated with getting it right. so rather than questions like “how many countries are there in the world?” we’d go with stuff like
- “how many americans traveled abroad last year?” or
- “how many penguins are there on earth?” or
- “what is the top speed of an ant in inches per hour?” (that one is fun).
Basically, the goofier the better, especially when drinking.
Don’t view this spoiler until you’ve taken a guess yourself
Even though it’s not the point, I did just google those out of curiosity:
- 90M (total trips, so something less than that for total people)
- 40M +
- 120,000 in/hr (link)
I have not met Dave Grohl (this went around FB a while back and so many of my friends HAVE met him…I felt left out).
James Earl Jones came to do a little actor’s round table with the cast of the musical I was in during my senior year in college. Got to sit around and ask him questions and he told us about his life, overcoming his terrible stutter, Star Wars, everything. It was badass.
Met Clinton when he visited the AFA. That dude is literally the most charismatic person on the planet. He’s like a fucking magnet…you can’t not pay attention to him when he’s in the room, even when he’s not speaking/not the focus. It was actually a bit disturbing, and even though he’s not an attractive man at all, I suddenly understood why women would throw themselves at him. I’ve never met or interacted with anyone else like it.
As for Jose Canseco…he plays poker. I dealt to him at the WSOP. Of course, I didn’t recognize him until AFTER the down was over, and I was upset because I felt like a terrible Reds fan in that I didn’t get a chance to needle him about the 1990 WS
I’m not a regular viewer but I always perceived things like this as her messing with the guests rather than being mean-spirited.
But that video was particularly bad. Most of what I’ve seen is Bill Gates poorly guessing food prices or Lin-Manuel Miranda getting outsmarted by a kid genius about Alexander Hamilton.
That had to be incredible.
It was
Nice.
There are multiple Twitter threads of entertainment industry people and former employees saying Ellen was super abusive and a terrible person.
Yeah. There was also the thing with the Intuit people and apparently she’s a serial animal adopter / unadopter.
Michael Brooks has passed away, due to a sudden medical condition…
Appeared on most progressive shows
My Favourite youtube progressive star, such a wonderful human being.
FUCKIN FUCK
I was just watching his clips from earlier, seems this is quite sudden.
Michael Brooks was super knowledgable, funny, and good natured. I really appreciated all his deep dives to Brazilian politics and other foreign affairs. His death makes the world dumber and less interesting. What a bummer.
This game is basically cheating for LA residents. I think this is a fun list for someone that has lived in OK their whole life.
