Spielberg is probably the most reluctant to meet people among those listed.
Mine was Sylvester Stallon and it was the a similar thing to yours only it was Planet Hollywood was opening up and funding fell through and so did the appearances, we had known Bruce and Sly was In town to promote it.
The King St Car park at the back of our main shopping areas in town was were the Planet Hollywood would have been was at my friend’s Car Park and he’d been offered a fair few quid to pack up, pity it fell through.

Didn’t “meet” Spielberg, but stood next to him at the will-call window for a Sade concert in 2001. Met Magic when I snuck into the Forum before said concert (he asked to borrow my cell phone). I used to work at a product placement company in LA. Janet was shooting something at the sound stage next door. Met Ali at a restaurant in Detroit when I was a bus boy.
Didn’t meet Rihanna, but she also came in to the product placement building to get some free swag. I was upstairs and wasn’t really into running down for a pointless “hi.”
ETA: Didn’t even recognize Janet at first. This was when she was well past her prime. I was hanging out in the warehouse and thought she was maybe a dancer for the act practicing next door. She was beautiful.
