There are 500k Israelis living in area C, some for four decades. It’s gonna be a massive challenge to complete a land transfer without some adjustments and trades.

That was already known when Israel agreed to the transfer. Why go back on that agreement? I find this a curious argument considering Palestinians lived for decades in the areas that are now Israel.
it’s not an argument, it’s a fact. I’m not trying to say whether they should live there, should they be evicted, should Palestinians be evicted. It’s insanely complicated logistically to transfer half a million people.
The “israel agreed to” thing is pretty broad and is more of a Ehud Barak narrative than a fact.

Jerusalem was always going to have Jews. 40 years ago the WB had settlements, but it wasn’t completely fucked. It got more hopeless every year…and now it’s just not possible. Mission accomplished.

yes the number of people there, and the security risks with giving it up. I think they will have to give up some of the land but will keep the land surrounding jerusalem and the borders

No. It’s a very simple rule. I would say it’s being against the oppressor, but you can just call it the more powerful party or the favorite. A lot of people are quite consistent about that whether it’s China/Uyghur, Myanmar/Rohinga, Canada/First Nations, US/anyone. Calling it anti-Semitic just because Hamas is not condemned is so wrong and is harmful to Jewish people. It’s BS spouted by right wing evangelicals and it’s horrible when they are joined by Jews.

He’s from the states and has gotten plenty of pity from me over the years. It never changes. People only get ao many chances from me to change behaviors pointed out to them as harmful before I write them off and start pointing out their bullshit to anybody else that comes along. The mocking isnt for me or Mets, its to highlight the absurdity underneath the polite airs he puts forth so passerby arent fooled by it.

i respect your opinions about Israel despite not agreeing with them. but your refusal to condemn Hamas has to be rooted in hatred for Israel or the Jewish people or else you would condemn a group thats wants to kill all the jews in the world
