Pretty sick that 4 out of the 5 games so far he has had a runaway.
Sometimes I forget things in hindsight. Like just how crazy Jamesā initial run was. Check out his 10 day total at the end of this episode.

This one had me pretty disappointed. I see what she was trying to do, but you know Mattea isnt betting 0 there. You gotta bet enough to overtake Mattās cover bet 100% of the time. It was kinda a must win for her and she had the opportunity to do it from third and blew it

I am not really enjoying the tourney so much. Maybe once they get passed the round robin games.
Watching the current J champ bet nothing with gigantic leads is maddening. Guy has left a house on the table with those underbets.

With $20,600 (opponents: $2,000 and $800) late in DJ, the 5-day champ wagered [drumrollā¦] the $5 minimum on the last DD. He took a lead of $24,205 into FJ against $1,200 and $400. Feeling adventurous, he wagered $795 and again answered correctly for a grand total of $25,000.

Holy shit. He must have lower self esteem than almost anyone on the planet. He left 21.5K on the table minimum, and closer to something like 40K.

He had a $60,000 game a few days ago. I think the most annoying aspect is the clicking buttons nature of it. Donks overbet pot with the nuts, then next time they minbet into a massive pot. No rhyme or reason to any of it.
Iām not exactly sure how that tournament works. I saw parts of a couple episodes (including final Jeopardy) and was under the impression they were just betting āpoints,ā not dollars, and all they won at the end was 3, 1, or 0 points (for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place that particular match) towards their standing in the tournament.
Werenāt the episodes currently airing done before the writerās strike?
Hes upset about the last week of episodes filming before the end of the season. Those happened after the strike.
LOL. WTF else is there for Ken Jennings? There is a reason Trebek did the job for decades. There is not really any going up from his spot. I guess not sharing with Mayim. But if anything, this helps him as far as that is concerned.
