The lack of being able to imagine a world without police is much more a pitiful acceptance and almost reveling in people’s cowardice than a celebration of the bravery of police. People who can’t imagine knocking on a neighbor’s door to ask them to turn down their music let alone help someone in danger are baffled by a world without people they pay to point guns at other whoever is bothering them.
That’s not at rivaldo. I’m quite confident he’s not afraid to tell the neighbors to quiet down or to have your back in a scrape. But our society practically celebrates dependence on authority.
