I doubt there are enough “olympic level” skaters assuming each country is restricted to X number of participants and X is a low number, especially in something like women street skating

The top women were hitting the big rail. Women skating is only going to get better. One of the top medal contenders is only 13!

I watched some of the men’s and every single attempted trick I saw was a wipeout. 5/5 then I got bored and moved on.
I read the wiki of the American skater who finished 2nd and he participated in the X games when he was 11. This gives me just 7 years till I can tell my son he’s a disappointment!
btw the youngest olympian in Tokyo is a 12 year old table tennis player from Syria

I’d guess some team sport where it would be easy to have some really young or really old scrub that just stays on the bench the whole time, but still gets the medal.
