Went to Atlanta in 1996. Best vacation I ever had and the biggest event I saw was handball semi finals.
They are a blast in person. Highly recommend if you can go to one.

I’m stoked about this. Also due to fuckery by Fronter FIOS I’m somehow paying $10 for a sports package I didn’t want. But it has the Olympics channel, so I’ve been binging on the trials. I really like the guy who won the 5k meters - can’t remember his name now.
New WR in the 400m Hurdles in the Diamond League today. It was the oldest men track record.
The one I saw broke freaking Edwin Moses’ Olympic trial record. Amazing. Few olympians have dominated anything the way he dominated the 400m hurdles.
Less than a week ago Rai Benjamin won the US trials with 46.83, second best all-time.
Then yesterday some Norwegian jabroni comes along and sets a new WR at 46.70. In Oslo! Dude did not get the message about USA#1
