My thought was ggoreo could write a script that auto-translates (badly) everything in the main forum into French. These troublesome users exiled to FrenchBBV must then slow down to translate what they’re reading. And of course we require them to respond in French as well, so that they must be equally deliberate and thoughtful with their responses.
The loophole in this is if the poster already speaks fluent French, but as you all know, l’habit ne fait pas le moine!

My take is he was pissed at cuse not for too much moderation but for the way he was going about things. Same as I was when I quit, but I wasn’t clever enough to dream up the donkey porn option.
I was poking around the politics subreddit the other day for some dumb reason and it seemed more sane than I expected. Does anyone post there? Is it worth namedropping Unstuck over at reddit or would we just attract a bunch of Jordan Peterson bros?

That occurred to me, though I’m sure there’s something else. But, it occurred to me that that thought had to occur to the person who used that sn when they used it and thought it was cute to have a sn that was “duh, you snowflakes, it’s not Chancellor of the Third Reich, it’s really ______. Freakin snowflakes!”

It is not related to the chancellor of the Third Reich. That thought truly did not occur to me until I googled Third and Chancellor to see what people would find when they tried to guess the meaning.

Just so you understand the suspicion, if you’re not a troll, this whole community basically split off from another politics forum and some of the people from the old forum come in here once in a while and turn out to be unpleasant.

I wasn’t even familiar with the process of electing German chancellors having three phases. My reference is to something/someone/someplace American.
