The danger with submitting pop1 is that if I donāt like the hooks, thereās nothing else to the song. This one is really phoned in imo, the main hook sounds like it was written by an AI which is in the process of losing a computer songwriting competition. I feel like I have a better submission just restricting myself to the oeuvre of Above & Beyond:

There are few more overrated genres of song than the ballads written by metal bands, with misty-eyed headbangers swaying along to songs they would laugh at in any other context. This is mostly just dull, but the lyrics reallyā¦ whatās the opposite of elevate? it and it ended up annoying me. For example:
So save your breath, I will not hear
I think I made it very clear
You couldnāt hate enough to love
