I don’t even know where to post this but this seemed like the most appropriate place -

I followed a telegram link from one of the crazy people I follow on facebook and I ended up in a sovereign citizen telegram group. These people are absolutely fucking insane. There’s a “leader” of the group that is supposedly a (maritime) law expert and gives advice. The majority of the people in the group seem to be in foreclosures and he’s giving them advice on how to get out of it. Supposedly on Oct 1st the whole banking system is getting blown up and we’re all going to have our mortgages wiped clear. There’s a few people that have tried the recommendations to stop a foreclosure and end up with an update of something like “Well, they auctioned my house yesterday” and the usual response is they failed in one of the nonsense steps and that’s why it didn’t work.

Also, if any of you get a ticket by the police, try this for me and let me know if it works:

Honestly, you should report this group for unlawful practice of law. That advice is horrible and wrong. If a licensed attorney gave it, you would get sued for malpractice.

I think if someone was open on their “cheating is not that big a deal” stance and cheated, I wouldn’t hold it against them. Like if Clovis were running for office, I wouldn’t consider that as I’d assume any partners would be aware of his stance going in. Not exactly an open relationship situation, but adjacent.
