So I’m still registered R (did it in 2016 to vote against Don in a closed primary) and I get this text today.
Sick thing is, this township/county were R for forever until 2018.

It was always contextual: Red states GOOD, Blue states and especially swing states VERY BAD
I think we’re about one election cycle away from “You can only vote by mail if you live more than X miles from a polling station”. Where X is scientifically calibrated to disenfranchise the most net urban voters vs. rural voters.

The has got to be the cutting edge of Republican voter suppression. Sending mail in ballots to people who are ineligible to use them, formula based eligibility for which counties can or cannot use mail in voting (then tweak the inputs so only red counties can) etc. The possibilities are truly endless.
Delegitimizing elections is already so standard they have form paragraphs for it. We’re going to see this every election now.
