While Bernie et al might might getting some doctrinal socialists to vote D, I think a lot of his/squad supporters wouldn’t actually support something so “far left” as seizing the means or even nationalization of key industries or even laws to mandate worker ownership in otherwise capitalistic enterprises.
… And I think this would apply to most ITT as well.

During the 2020 election? Seems like after he lost the best use of that money would have been to try and defeat trump.

Yeah Biden and democrats are fucking awful, but as long as we have an actual democracy at least there is the possibility of change. If trump had won there would have been no possibly, plus mass suffering. There would have been no second stimulus bill, vaccine distribution would have been a mess, and he likely would have ended democracy
Any other use of the money would have been a bad move imo. It was the same with Hillary and why he supported her, he gets how dangerous trump is and while it sucks we had to defeat him at all costs

Actually socialist healthcare would involve government production of the goods and services. Medicare/M4A is largely the government paying for goods and services produced privately.
What if we had government production of goods and services, but still had private insurers paying for them (this is very hypothetical and unrealistic, I know). Would that be socialist healthcare? It seems like it would be meet Chads criteria (I think).
