They literally don’t believe anything. “Beliefs” are too limiting, what they like are partly formed concepts that trigger a dopamine release in their brains (sense of outrage, sense of fear, sense of being cheated of what they and they alone deserve). The specifics of the partly formed concept don’t matter. It doesn’t have to be consistent with observable reality. It doesn’t have to be consistent with what they just said. The only concepts that form any traction in their minds are those that provide easy and readily available shortcuts to the dopamine hit.

Who’s going to stop them? Pelosi and the Sergeant at Arms? There is absolutely zero incentive for Republicans to stop pushing and pushing the envelope of wingnuttery until AOC gets shot.
I am honestly surprised she hasn’t gotten violent with AOC yet. She clearly wants to provoke a security guard to arrest her for harassing AOC so she can weave a grievance tale out it for Republicans to lap up. She’s definitely going to manufacture a situation where AOC needs to physically push past her and then she’ll escalate it and claim AOC started the whole thing and the Deep State punished MTG for trying to save America from Communists.
