No way. They aren’t dumb, they are just craven narcissistic assholes. And to the extent they aren’t the smartest, their craven assholiness helped them in other ways. Cheating for grades, getting just the right references through family connections or whatever, extracurriculars whoring/exaggerating, etc.
Yeah the Ivy League is bullshit. Its George Carlin “its a club and you ain’t in it” brought to life.

They really need to follow that up with some other questions. Like “Do you think a one-party system would be better than what we currently have?” “Do you think the election should be overturned despite a lack of compelling evidence?” “Do you think democracy is overrated as a concept?” I mean if they really think the winner should be declared the loser and the loser should be declared the winner, how do we ever hold an election again? And why bother?
