GOP Insanity Containment 2: This is the Place. This is the Time, Cowboy.

Hmm…this page doesn’t exist. Try searching for something else.

No, it’s not, and her husband proved it.

My condo is all electric, built in 1970 when electricity was the future. I have this weird seal thing on my doorbell that certifies all electric.

Then people realized they liked stuff cooked with gas. Electric stoves do suck. You have to buy special flat pans that never seem to have decent non-stick surfaces. I’d be really annoyed if I cooked very much.

At least this is the first place I’ve had where I can run the toaster oven and the microwave at the same time without tripping a circuit breaker.

I grew up with an electric stove (including figuring out ways to make it work with nonflat pots and pans) and I think all the gas slappies are just big whiners

Why not just whine that your stove isn’t a robot from the Jetsons

Raw diet stan?

Or the production of energy at the power plant, and the mining to produce the wires, etc, is bad for our health?

The biggest source of radiation for most people used to be the fires that kept us alive, but now I think it’s the combustion engines that take us to work lol

Induction stovetops can be adapted too. A gas stove will work if the power goes out but maybe not be great if there’s an earthquake. So, pluses and minuses.

No, just the particles and products of combustion and other physical and chemical reactions that occur during cooking. Indoor air pollution. I have to disable two fire alarms to do much cooking in my apartment and it stinks up the place.

A raw food diet is not good. We’ve evolved with our technology. We need to pre-process our food by cooking most of it or we can’t digest it very well.

My place is a bit like this. If I’m trying anything I need to open a window and a door and create a through draft

No fresh meat? No chili beans? No problem. I hope caviar and lobster tail will still be covered. Have you ever had canned lobster tail? It’s gross.

Prior to the nineteenth century, only widows, orphans, and servants ate lobster. And in some parts of New England, serving lobster to prison inmates more than once a week was forbidden by law, as doing so was considered cruel and unusual punishment.
