The more I see it, the more I think it’s a bit. The things he says are way beyond even the nuttiest conservatives (Qanon stuff excluded).

He’s pretty committed to it if it’s a bit:

Adams was elected to the Municipality of Ashfield council in 2004 on the Young Liberals ticket. At age 21, he was elected as deputy mayor. He was elected under a loophole which allowed Adams as a non-resident to run for elections. He was criticized for often missing council meetings because he was traveling the American speaking circuit as a motivational speaker. In October 2006, Adams was “formally condemned by fellow Councillors after racking up thousands of dollars worth of phone calls and Cabcharges for personal benefit.”

Can’t let anything stand in the way of spending well over $8 trillion over 10 years on offense

Im not even really against what the compromise is at this point in time (mandate eliminated, but no reinstatement or backpay for those that refused previously), it is just hilarious how fast obstacles get moved out of the way for the defense bill but on other issues gee, wow, our hands are tied.

Seems like a bit to me:

In 2010, Adams served as the PR consultant for The Halloween Institute, a march to make Halloween a public holiday in Australia.[10] It was later revealed those who protested were paid actors.[10]

Adams immigrated to the United States in 2012.[7] He said that he immigrated to America because “I love guns, hot dogs, chicken fried steak, barbecue, cheerleaders, American football, small town parades, beauty pageants, pick-up trucks, muscle cars and 16-lane freeways lined with supersized American flags.” He has said that since he held conservative views that he had to wait nearly five years to acquire citizenship because of discrimination by the Obama administration. Adams works as a motivational speaker and conservative activist. He has said that his fascination of the American political system lead him to promoting American ideals.[6] Then-Texas Governor Rick Perry crowned Adams an “honorary Texan” prior to a speech in 2013.[10]

It’s got to be a bit. I know we see all sorts of ridiculous conservatives all the time, but this dude goes on and on about Hooters and shit.

Did he see John Gruden on TV and decide that was the Pinnacle of American manhood?

It’s a bit but with enough cover that I’m sure plenty of conservatives think he’s being genuine. Also really not much distinction between actual right-wing politics and parody of them these days.

Many people of a certain political persuasion outraged that an American was freed from being wrongfully detained by an enemy state and brought home to safety. What could be the reasons…
