GOP Insanity Containment 2: This is the Place. This is the Time, Cowboy.

Yeah this is admittedly pretty nitty

To expand on this, the guy is still an anesthesiologist. So, even if can’t live his best life and find an academic position at a university (which sounds like his current goal), he could easily just find some random hospital in an underserved area and practice anesthesiology there and still rake in hundreds of thousands of dollars of year in income.

The dude will be just fine.

But but but I was surgeon general. People are supposed to line up to throw money at me for doing pretty much nothing. Give me a nice title and I go to a few fundraising dinner parties.

Lol this made me smile so much. Should be in the good news thread.

So much stuff is lining up for the new season to be an all timer.

They ran in the same circles as Phil Valentine right?

Valentine was a skeptic of wearing masks to prevent COVID-19 and suggested that only those with underlying health conditions should be vaccinated against the illness.[6] He performed a parody song, “Vaxman”, in the style of the 1966 Beatles song “Taxman”, altering the lyrics to parody vaccination efforts.[33][34] He compared vaccination status badges worn by medical workers with the yellow badges German Jews were ordered to wear by the Nazis.[35] Valentine predicted his chance of dying from COVID-19 was less than one percent.[35]

After growing sicker with COVID-19, Valentine expressed regret that he had not been vaccinated and that his criticism of the COVID-19 vaccine had caused some listeners of his radio program to choose not to be vaccinated.[36]

On July 11, 2021, Valentine announced he had COVID-19.[40][41] To battle the illness, Valentine took Vitamin D and the anti-parasite drug ivermectin, despite warnings against the medication by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.[42][43] After contracting COVID-19, Valentine regretted not being vaccinated against the illness and that his criticism of the COVID-19 vaccination had caused some listeners of his radio program to not be vaccinated.[44] Valentine was placed on mechanical ventilation on July 28, 2021.[45][46] His brother, Mark, announced on July 30, 2021, that Valentine required extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), which acts as an artificial lung and heart for the body.[47] Valentine died of complications of COVID-19 on August 21, 2021.[8][7]

I’ve always been reluctant to embrace religion, but now that a repulsive, hero-complex cretin who murders protesters for sport is preaching the Word I may have to reconsider

Yeah when Pool gave him the tiniest bit of pushback on some wingnut theory. At least that’s what I read. No way I’m watching that.

Imagine going from a billionaire hanging out with Jay Z, Beyonce, Kim and such (even if lol kardashians) to Milo and Tim Pool.

Man what a drop off from writing “Through the Wire” and calling out George Bush on national TV for not caring about black people to full Nazi.

I’m bummed out that I had to learn who Nick Fuentes was.

I really wish everyone would stop giving airtime to these guys. Just ignore them. Let their hatred drift into nothing.
