This makes most of it pretty clear. He broke in with the hammer, which may have triggered the alarm and resulted in a welfare check call. But that’s unclear because there’s also the thing about him tricking the guy about going into the bedroom.
Some of the facts are still a little muddy. But the confession seems pretty damn clear:

The affidavit says that Pelosi conveyed on the 911 call that he did not know the intruder, who said his name was Dave. There is body camera footage of a broken glass door on the back porch.

There’s a dispatcher call where the dispatcher says he’s a friend - which of course is all the MAGA chuds need.
It sounds like Pelosi left the phone on, so the dispatcher heard various things Pelosi said while trying to signal that he was still in danger. Or something.
