Wait, WAT? I thought that was more than half the reason people obtained access to those places.
As a plebe, Iāve only been in one once, so I donāt really understand what the etiquette is.
I like the lounges that have a separate section for first class. Gotta keep that business class riff raff out.
LAX Delta lounge is international only, AND Mexico and Central America doesnāt count. Kinda racist there guys.
I hypothesize that this only happened because it was a special election. If it was during a midterm, or definitely during a presidential year, Moore wins.
This is not at all true, If youāre flying international business class you get access but there are tons of ways to get in on a domestic ticket. The most common is having Amex platinum/centurion card.
The only time Iāve gone in that early is either
A. I failed on a standby attempt for an earlier flight
B. I had a meeting that was shortly before my flight so I had to get to the airport early to be able to board right after the meeting ended.
AMEX Delta Reserve gets me in.
Business class to Guatemala from LAX has to pay to use the Delta lounge.
I even have the Amex delta miles card. But they donāt send lounge passes anymore.

Spent most of my 4-hour layover in Dallas in the American lounge and it was certainly nicer than killing the same amount of time out in the terminal.
Gotta admit it felt way better being among the privileged elite rather than the riffraff commoners.
But he triggers the libs which is all that ever matters.
they donāt sell business class to guatemala, they sell domestic first class on that route. airlines love these dumb wrinkles. Delta has actually made it a bit easier to figure out, if the route is marketed as āDelta Oneā then you get access whether itās a domestic or international route. Generally, Delta One = lie-flat seats, but they use those planes on some domestic routes as well (usually for one-off equipment repositioning) and if you happen to be on one of those you donāt get access even if you paid for the nice seat, because itās marketed as āfirst classā instead of ādelta oneā
Yeah itās absolutely ludicrous that they let everyone with an Amex in but not someone who paid for a first class ticket.
