When will someone think of the poor white men making $80M/year selling airport books?

The world would be a better place if these three had been aborted.

Psychologist Jonathan Haidt has found that nearly everyone is repelled by the prospect of brother-sister sex, even in hypothetical situations in which there is no chance of pregnancy

Uhhh, Jonathan Haldt apparently hasnā€™t had much exposure to internet porn.

Greenwalk mea culpa coming any minute now.

Of course none of this will matter. The right-wing hive mind now has their cognitive-dissonance assuaging example that the left is just as bad, which they will conjure up every time they read about right-wing online harassment.

Agree with this tbh. I have started throwing a few nicotine patches in my morning smoothie and I feel smarter then ever, Iā€™m literally bursting with new ideas. For example, we should have a restaurant just for dogs. Or how about a house with two kitchens? I see no reason why we limit ourself to just one kitchen.

Hmm, I have leftover nicotine from 2020, perhaps I should get some placebo gum and figure out how to design a double blind study on my poker results.

there are whole cultures that eat tobacco rather than smoke, but the europeans of the time all the way upto now would dismiss them as not enlightened. really makes you think if smokers are just rasist

Iā€™m not investing a single second into further investigating this but please be true

Saw this from my hometown bookshop in upper middle class Chicago burbs.
I guess itā€™s happening at the libraries too. Lovely

I find that election like disgustingly compelling. They have this seat they should almost automatically win back, right? Red state that just flipped blue and just barely and now red wave election is coming. Slam dunk. But they nominate an insane domestic abusing absentee father, so thereā€™s a chance he could actually lose. But heā€™s black and famous, and he doesnā€™t need to peel off much of the black vote to make it virtually impossible for Dems to win. Warnock got 92% of the black vote when he won. But then also heā€™s black and how many racist white people stay home?

PredictIt has Walker favored at 54%.

Itā€™s a lot more plausible than just about any GQP theory.

Dems getting a 6 year Georgia seat could fuck up a lot of predictions about red waves

I mean, not really. Here are the competitive seats in 2022:

Dems Currently Hold:
Georgia
Arizona
Nevada
New Hampshire

GOP Currently Holds:
Wisconsin
Pennsylvania
North Carolina
Florida (lol)

Thereā€™s a world where even in a red wave election, Dems manage to pick up one or two seats or hold even. The map breaks really well for them. If things were going better, theyā€™d be expecting to pick up 2-3 seats. But then look at 2024:

Dems Defend:
Arizona
Maine
Michigan
Montana
Nevada
Ohio
Pennsylvania
Virginia
West Virginia
Wisconsin

GOP Defends:
Florida (lol)
Texas (lol)

If Brown, Tester, and Manchin canā€™t buck the presidential outcome, thatā€™s -3 right there. Thatā€™s before you even get into the actual swing states Dems are defending.

Iā€™d say the realistic range of outcomes after 2024 goes from D53-47 to R60-40.

Just to highlight the contrast, heā€™s also tied with the electorate with a Christian pastor.
