Hawthorne going over the PV peninsula is very windy and very steep at the same time. I can’t imagine going over 60.
This was maybe the perfect tournament golf course today.
If you’re on top of your game you can still go super low.
If you know where to miss and are in control of your distance and direction you aren’t going to get blown off the course.
If you’re bringing into play missing in the wrong spots you can absolutely blow up
And if you’re Jordan Spieth you can miss in the wrong spot on 15 and still get a 3-shot swing by hitting the flagstick.
I feel like 13 gets all the acclaim and renown for being an awesome hole (which it is)… But when it’s firm 15 is just such a perfect golf hole.
Drive it in the fairway and it’s short enough that you’ve got a chance to get there in two.
Drive it in the trees and you’re laying up, but there isn’t really a great spot to lay up to because every spot gives you a downhill lie off of a tight ass fairway, and the closer you get the higher your chance of spinning it back into the water.
Then on your approach: Short is wet and you’re bringing double or worse into play. But go long in the wrong spot and you’re risking going back into the water coming back the other way. So you almost have to bail out into the right bunker or go long on the opposite side of the pin so you can angle the momentum enough to stop the ball on the green. But if you find the right 3-4 yard window and take dead aim you can easily give yourself a 10 footer uphill for eagle.

Great golf holes produce birdies and doubles on the reg. No other course has more such holes.

And he still parred out with his three wood. Most people’s inclination is to go with driver or 3 wood if they busted their putter but I find using the edge of your most lofted club pretty effective. I occasionally do that if I’m using taking a cart and don’t want to walk back to it to grab my putter if I didn’t take it for whatever reason. I’m sure he’s practiced enough to figure out what’s best for himself but it’s still lol good luck on these greens.

I’m sure you could. Lot of laptops have HDMI out if you don’t have DVI out to HDMI cable. I just don’t have a laptop anymore.
