I just saw an ice cream pie at Braum’s yesterday when looking for an ice cream cake.

I was going to nominate this one. All-time favorite of mine.
A pie is made in a pie pan with a crust on the edges. Cheesecake is made in a spring-form pan with a base on the bottom.
This pic is pushing me towards no.

Just because you lack the proper equipment doesn’t make you a pie all of a sudden.

Cheesecake pie is actually the evolved form of cheesecake. It has a superior crust to filling ratio.
To exclude it is to deny progress.
