Lemon versus key lime??? Come on
I think I did an okay job seeding. Top 4 seeds crushed, and most high seeds won. Rhubarb was probably too high, but that was due to my bias.
Looking over the bracket, I think I’ve had all but 5.
JimHammer thanks for running though we shouldve had a full tournament to determine the seedings

apple’s trip to the semis is no cakewalk, it’s way easier than that
I’ve actually had to make a couple decisions, but in the end, chocolate pies triumph over everything for me, so I have an auto-finals in my head. Next is mousse-type pies like pumpkin and banana cream, though I voted against coconut cream because I simply don’t like coconut (the pic looks goooood, though).
Coconut creme vs. cherry in the 2nd round is a real Sophie’s choice.
If by “Sophie’s choice” you mean not having either and getting some nice butterscotch pudding instead you are correct.
Butterscotch anything is terrible. Come at me.
Tho technically these are caramels…
Those are fine, that’s not really butterscotch flavored.
Wow
As just one counter example, banana bread with chocolate and butterscotch chips is elite.
Butterscotch sundae is elite.
A million times better if you leave out the butterscotch chips.

Some of the people here need to search out bake sales or some other way to try homemade versions of these pies.
Banana cream is good, but pecan blows it away for me.
Warm, fresh peach pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream beats any French silk pie ive ever had.
Ain’t no one selling pumpkin pie made from fresh pumpkin at a bake sale.
Maybe.
They’re so good, nobody wants to part with them.
