From NBA Live '95 to 2K20: An Unstuck 5 Year NBA Dynasty Draft

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

I did not see that one coming. I had a diff player in mind but I think I like it? I don’t know if it’s good value is my only hangup.

I’ll probably like it the more I think about it. I have thought that Billups was a prototype for the modern point guard and he’s rarely referenced as such. The fit is great and he’s probably better than the guy I was thinking of with the team you have.

Billups also played for a couple seasons with KG before Detroit signed him to a contract that was larger than many anticipated, wasn’t it just the full midlevel or something tho? I remember there being a bit of skepticism with Dumars giving him the deal and role.

If you ain’t melting faces, you’re last.

Srsly tho in my mind he was ~BPA, apart from fit. And fit makes it a fairly clear BPA. 2nd best peak 2-way PG ever imo.

Yeah, that’s where I’m admitting I’ve prbly been underrating him IRL even tho I feel I’m way higher on him than most.

For real tho, it’s prbly Oscar.

Well, if you include O, then there’s another couple “PG” that are better than CP3

One of em is still available!

Are they actual guards?

One is

2-way?

Three way

Chauncy is a good fit for your team but might have been able to get him next round.

The thing I remember about Chauncey from that 2004 Finals is how he seemed to make the right decision every time and was completely under control. He always had the goods. Before that dragon slaying, I think the general impression of Chauncey was a middling journeyman PG. He shows up in Detroit out of nowhere with alligator blood making basketball moves.

Also the length of UNDRAFTED giving UNDRAFTED fits in that Finals. +1 to RIP Rick Fox.

I’ll take the player who won DPOY in:

2002
2003
2005
2006

He also happens to be a dominant rebounder and blocker, leading the league in those a few of those years.

He also took on Shaq one on one in the NBA finals, which his team won 4-1 against the Lakers.

The one, the only, Big Ben!

With Jordan and Dirk I don’t need all 5 players to be ball dominant guys.

@anon92450360 is up

KG/KD/Billups is like a sup’d up version of the threesome that was KG’s only real winning team in Minny (WCF and MVP year).

Woah, Ben Wallace sighting. There’s one guy that probably should have gone ahead of him. I like it tho.

Ben would obviously play the UNDRAFTED role with Jordan and Dirk gunning. Fit is good.
