more of you need to travel to Japan.
This vote is a travesty.
Would have chosen pastries if not for the Impossible Burger.
Or Brooklyn
You like it? I tried it and it tastes like meat but bland meat.
I mean if you’re just having without any cheese or other burger toppings, then yeah it is.
But it’s the closest I’ve ever had to a real burger that wasn’t meat.
I had the default impossible whopper. Any recommendations what I should add? I’m willing to give it another shot.
Had mine at a different restaurant.
I just had your typical burger toppings: lettuce, tomato, ketchup, cheese, onions. It wasn’t some perfect creation or anything like that.
I think step one is don’t get it at Burger King. You can buy the Impossible Burger and make it at home as you would a burger that used to have a mother.
I’ve had the Impossible Whoppa three times. It’s okay but not good.
I don’t understand how it’s only got 30 fewer calories than a regular Whopper. WTF? What’s the point if it’s not healthier?
I guess the point right now is that cows are not required to make it.
Yeah, it’s a statement on the climate and/or the food processing industry more than anything. You’re definitely not getting it for the health benefits, because there really aren’t any. It’s processed as fuck.
I haven’t checked but I assume it has like 10000% less cholesterol and fat than your standard quarter pound o’ ground round
15% less fat, 90% less cholesterol per the verge.com

How does the Impossible Whopper no cheese have any cholesterol? Only animal products have cholesterol. Egg from the mayo maybe?
Possibly. I read some complaints that the Impossible isn’t vegan because of the mayo.
Seems high though. An egg has 200 mg of cholesterol in it. You can emulsify a ton of oil with a single egg yolk, seriously like more than a quart. I’ve made mayo with one egg and a quart of oil and I’m sure that I could probably have emulsified a gallon if I felt like.
