@anon46587892 unintentional As I’m a noob…
Is there a formatting something that will make tweets show up as tweets (like what appears on a twitter timeline) rather than mostly text?
Quick googling suggests maybe. I need to investigate further and do some Twitter related integration I was planning on anyway. Give me a couple days to come up with a better answer.
Thanks!
(testing the quote feature)
Yea black theme works best for me too. Twitter is an abomination but their black background kicks ass.
Is there a way to change font color?
Just for yourself, overall on themes, or in posts?
Apologies I think this is a repeat question but is there a way I can make posts different colours?
[font color=“102b49”]IN POSTS[/font]
Like what that used to do
Or [COLOR= LIMEGREEN]IN POSTS[/COLOR]
Ok, now I got it.
NM
Edit: It’s like 2+2 bbcode
{COLOR=RED}IN POSTS{/COLOR}
Like that, but with [ ] instead of { }
I’ve also noticed a couple different results from embedding twitter

Actually yes, that was a design decision by the people who created Discourse because quoting people is often pointless repetition of content.
Holy crap! Just noticed about 5 min ago that new replies automatically come in and you don’t have to hit F5. Also noticed if you type a reply in a thread but don’t submit it, whatever you typed up comes up when you re-visit that thread.
Whoever worked on this new site rocks! Well done!
Agreed
Greg, I cannot find this setting anywhere. Using discourseapp.
Click on your avatar icon in the top right corner. Click on the little cog icon for preferences. → Notifications
There you find the option for live notifications. Not sure if that is what you are looking for.
You can do this to 200000000 different posts and each time you hit "Quote the quote is inserted in your reply
This is great!
Needs a fifth level, “discovering that discourse is different than discord” :D
Always avoided forum posting on mobile but this is a breeze :)
