Morey is lucky he didn’t get fired. The rockets are probably the most popular team in China. It is worth massive revenue for the team.
I don’t disagree with what he said but it was a substantial risk even if the rockets goofball owner is pleased as punch with him.
I stumbled into twitter replies towards Morey and the amount of angry people, with many seemingly Chinese, was pretty substantial. Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady probably two of the most popular nba players in China. They sell lots of Rockets merchandise because of those guys and have a big following there.

Nobody had to get inside on Tyson. Tyson had to get in on them. It’s why he used his peek-a-boo style. Douglas beat him with a piston like jab and clinching whenever Tyson got inside.

Kuklinski was a professional. I don’t think comparing those guys to serial killers makes sense honestly… mostly because if we’re talking about people who kill for money there are probably a few who never got caught with waaaaay higher body counts than any serial killer. There’s no way to know how many people individual trigger men during the golden age of the syndicate killed, but I wouldn’t be shocked if one got to four digits. Show me a guy who was active from say 1930-1980 and that’s the nominee for high 3 digit low 4 digit territory.
