The dude without any weapon is the prisoner on day release who received injury.

Just after this moment a police officer came from the side of the bridge and took the day release guy off holding him down and ended the situation right there.

Did the guy ever explain why he had a narwhal tusk in the first place? “For years, everywhere I went people would point and laugh at me for carrying around this giant tusk. Well, who’s laughing now?!”

Not living in California, nor being a teacher I thought it was weird I was exposed to this Twitter ad.

The only reason I really noticed it though was the actual content of telling people to leave their unions but retain their benefits. I guess part of me thought that kind of advertising was illegal, but I am not sure why I thought that.

Friday lunchtimes are often a bit lively around these parts.

He was sentenced to 15 years in 2004 for the murder of a 21 year old woman with a mental age of 15 after a Samaritans worker broke their code of silence to report to police that s/he’d received phone calls (45 in the month following the murder) from a suicidal person confessing to the killing of a girl.

I hope the former amateur wrestler comes to terms with his crime and this event becomes something of a turning point for him.

The younger microdaughter’s boyfriend lives in England (that’s weird, but the internet you know). A close family friend of theirs was stabbed in the attack and is in intensive care. (Not stabbed by a narwhal tusk)

Hey, I love Columbo too!

Saw Knives Out Thanksgiving night in a mostly empty theater. Very good. I approve this recommendation.

I’m looking to get rid of my car, anyone with some ideas? It’s an 2007 Acura TL with 148k miles with a trade in value of 2.1k-2.8k and a private sale value of 4.2k to 5.7k (ok lol). I’m not in any rush, but I’m lazy af and don’t like haggling. No interest in a new car atm so not trading in, so if I could poof this thing for 3500 I’d be pretty happy. The main thing is though it’s due for a 7 year timing belt service which the dealership quotes me at 1k, I don’t know how that affects trade in value or private sale value, I assume it would.

Donate it. If you claim blue book, the tax implication may be close to your bottom end anyway.

There’s also excitement for Knives Out in my Colombo loving household. Sadly my wife won the coin toss so she gets to go this evening when the child is asleep, I am hopeful for Tuesday.

This was going to be my suggestion as well.
