That may be changing. There’s no reason to assume youth voting rates will always be so low. They have more at stake now than my generation did at that age. Give them Warren or Bernie and see what happens.

This right here is why I think the pollsters likely voter models might be broken. I think some of you guys assumptions about who votes in our elections are based on out of date information.
Not impossible for 18-29 turnout to double from 2016-2020.
If old people didn’t live in the same home and go to the same polling station and get vote by mail etc for years and years they wouldn’t vote either.

I agree it’s probably unfair to berate young people for not voting, but that just means you can’t bank on the young vote as much if you can’t fix the structural reasons responsible for them not voting
AirBnB sucks - another 100B company that can’t do basic consumer protection.
Mainly because they’re shielded by guests not wanting to get bad reviews from owners, so the guests don’t make a big fuss.
I always go with VRBO if possible.

I can’t spend the next year reading an endless stream of articles about trump polling well in Ohio/Wisconsin/NC/Florida. It’s already driving me crazy. Gonna ship some cheddar to Liz and try to tune out.
It’s always fun when there’s a budget issue and the whole “Why don’t we stop paying Congress until they DO THEIR JOBS!!” shit rolls around, as if the ~$92 million we pay them is some huge chunk of the budget.
Yeah it’s the perfect deflection/copout for basically any issue.
And throw in bitching about deserving your own benefits for the boomer chef’s kiss.
