Yeah, r/conservative is mostly turning on Trump, election deniers, and no exception abortion ban supporters. Not as entertaining as I had hoped. 5% less deplorable I guess.

The problem is that these people will latch on to the next racist huckster who promises them a bag of magic beans. Hopefully there’s no one else out there who has the pop culture recognition that Trump had, but I’m not optimistic about that.

It’s good, but they have learned nothing. At best we have dodged the existential threat to democracy and are back to binders full of women Republicans in that subreddit. I doubt it, but I’ll take it (hopium thread).
The entire arc of trump goes from one improbable election win to a string of pathetic losses, in politics and out, the likes of which has not even been seen in fiction. He will be the comic relief chapter in history books for 200 years. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a phrase, like fiddled while Rome burned, associated with Trump in 2000 years, which can be translated to “pathetic loser who constantly overestimates himself.”
Warnock is very important because Sinema has said some very dumb things about judge confirmations.

My favorite part is how these dumbasses think that they are the “conservative base” and that MAGA dipshits are just some small group of allies they need to keep happy for numbers.
It’s actually the opposite. MAGA dipshits are the base of the the Trump GOP (and it still is Trump’s GOP). You guys are the ones they tolerate for your votes.
I feel like Marlo Stanfield had some great insight into situations like these.
