Elden Ring Friendship Circle

You’ll need to be at 29.9% or less of your max carry capacity to have a light load, and 69.9% or less for medium. You get about 1.6 to your load per point spent on endurance up to 26, so you can calculate how many more points you’d need to spend to get to the level you want and then estimate if it’s worth it. As a caster, you’re not likely to be looking to wield heavy equipment in the long term, so it’s not likely worth investing that many points, but a couple-few now can make your early going easier. You could also think about checking some guides about where to find good caster armors so that you can switch to those at minimal cost.

Godrick is fucking me up, but I’m making slow progress adjusting my strategy and getting the timing down. I have decent fire protection but the fire destroys me, so I’ve been experimenting with using the terrain to hide from fire. Really the process of trying to come up with strategies to beat these bosses is pretty satisfying.

Oh I also got some assassin sorcery that allows you to basically shoot any enemy as long as you can lock onto them. The added bonus is that the magic bolt appears from
And hits the target from behind. 10/10 stars would recommend.

Am i seeing it right that elden ring is 12km in size as opposed to 37km for skyrim?

Weird it feels much more full to me than of course the big comparison of breath of the wild. Speaking of which on review day I’m reading them and I’m like “more like DEATH OF THE WILD amirite” and then searched twitter for it and yeah how clever or original you think you are 1000 people already thought of it, no matter what it is.

I’m such an idiot - I didn’t realize that adding secondary weapons added to your load, and couldn’t figure out why they game had got so much harder. Just checked and yup - the extra weapons - which I never use - made it so I was fat rolling.

did the same

I don’t really understand how to use the map or cues to find new Resting Sites. Is there any indicator that shows up on the Map or just something that shows up in the atmosphere as you’re walking/riding around?

Resting sites don’t seem to appear on the map until you’ve touched them, but they tend to be along main roads, in or by major structures, or at the start of dungeons, so I haven’t had much trouble finding them.

There’s a big yellow line from some of them that points to the next one.

Several vendors sell a couple of the stone keys and they are occasionally in random chests you encounter by thoroughly exploring.

Yeah, but that also gets you to Margit right out of the gate, so that’s not the best of plans.

Wow.

Love this stuff. Whenever I’m struggling to solo a boss I always remember there’s going to be a video of a successful no hit, no roll, soul level 1, with the broken sword at some point if there isnt already.

It is funny watching everyone here and my main friend groups discourse talk about this so much and I just know I won’t like it so I am avoiding it.

One thing that is an interesting thought piece is whether or not it should have difficulty settings. Specifically is it ableist to not have them? I’m not sure, lots to think about. At the worst, if you’re terrible at this you can grind out levels in a few hours right? I mean we all did this in the 80s/90s. And yes we’re all old, deal with it.
