Thatâs basically all The Apprentice was. Trump would make a nonsensical decision to fire someone, probably b/c they didnât kiss his arse enough that week, then the editors would have to reverse engineer a reason for why that person was fired. There was almost no logic behind any of it. It was still decent entertainment though b/c Trump is such a caricature.

Yeah and with the celebrity versions of these shows, Iâm pretty damn sure everybodyâs charity gets a nice cut and the difference with the winner isnât very dramatic in the end. So itâs all just theatre anyway.

I understand why it seems necessary to withhold this information, but man if you described a random trial and told me the defendant wasnât even told who would be a witness against him, I would view that as a huge problem.

I think they have a witness list. They just donât know who the first up will be.

This is a good time for one of your polls. Itâs most likely going to be Stormy Daniels or someone who was responsible for turning the idea into money to laundering (this might be Cohen). I doubt Cohen goes first since heâs likely the star witness.
The prosecution really should just get to it and not waste time on a bunch of tech stuff like bringing someone into read political contribution laws. That should be kind of the last prosecution witness type to just hammer home that what Trump did was a crime.
I wish a juror said they played that game.
Anyone can make a poll. You should do it since youâre already thinking about it. Theyâre going to tell them who the first witness will be. Maybe it will be somebody boring so they can follow with someone they donât expect. Or not. I really have no idea what a good strategy would be.
Iâd have to see a witness list to do that and I donât know enough about the case to make a decent poll. But you make an excellent point that if youâre worried about the name leaking, put someone up who means nothing to the case and who wouldnât be harmed by their name being leaked. Like maybe the police officer who started the case or something would be something like that.
