Another question. I almost don’t even facebook, but the only posts I’ve ever made are in a private FB group (not related to politics at all). Under 10 lifetime. Even if they found them, they would be irrelevant.
But if someone was posting on a private FB group, how easy is it to get something like that?
Are they tracking down friends and acquaintances to see if people said anti-Trump stuff in real life?
Disagree, and this was evident in the first season, when the contestants were tasked with selling lemonade. The winning team offered kisses to coerce people into buying lemonade, which clearly should have resulted in a split of revenue between lemonade (the actual contest) and kisses (an irrelevant factor that should not have influenced the outcome). Moreover, when they competed in the rickshaw ride contest later in the season, Troy should have been disqualified for attempting to recognize revenue upon selling prepaid ride cards.
It was a complete slap in the face to those viewers like me who expect fair and transparent rules in all aspects of life.
In a rambling, incoherent 2,648-word manifesto, Azzarello — who identified himself as an investigative researcher — said he’d self-immolated as an “extreme act of protest” over a “totalitarian con” and impending “apocalyptic fascist world coup.”
…
Meanwhile, court records show Azzarello had filed a lawsuit in Manhattan federal court back in April 2023 against over 100 defendants — including the likes of Bill and Hillary Clinton, the country of Saudi Arabia, Mark Cuban, Richard Branson, and Ross Perot.
The conspiracy-laced and meandering case — filed by Azzarello, without a lawyer — alleged “an elaborate network of Ponzi schemes” dating back to the 1990s and continuing through 2023.
The lawsuit was tossed, though, last October when Azzarello failed to follow up with required court filings.
I might be making this up, but I seem to remember she made the final two, did great, and then Trump made some rambling speech about how she deceives people for a living and he didn’t like that so he was gonna go ahead and give the victory to his buddy Joan Rivers. Seems about right for him.
Conventional political wisdom is if someone loses an election, he either tries for a lower position or simply retires from politics. The idea of losing by 8 million votes then going up against the SAME OPPONENT the next election is so stupid only the republicans would think to do it.
If he loses by 12 million votes this time, he’ll still be their nominee in 2028
That’s pretty close. Lot’s of rumbling was going on at the time that it was basically fixed.
Rivers basically quit. They let her unquit. Then Duke stomped her in the final by any reasonable metric (cash raised, how nice the event was, general professionalism while getting it done), but through a combo of producer interventions and editing, they gave the win to Rivers.
They basically telegraphed the ending by stating at least 100 times in the lead up, “Although this is a fundraising event, just because you raise the most money doesn’t mean you are guaranteed to win. Trump is going to consider other factors as well.”
It was almost enough to make one feel a little bad for Duke.
He still has an iron clad grip on the Republican party. As long as pols in MAGA districts are in danger of losing their seats, they’ll never stop supporting him. He could ass rape a penguin on stage and they wouldn’t budge
