Trump: I wouldnā€™t have kept but they raided my house.
Baier: Do you know if you still have any highly sensitive government documents.
Trump: No, I donā€™t have anything, no.

He lied about that before. Baier should have followed up.

What Iā€™m concerned about they took everything.I donā€™t know what they took. They could be stuffing it.

Shoulda kept the receipts.

I stopped paying attention to politics because 2020 was so close that WAAF, but I wanted to check in with the only informed group of people I know.

Is anything actually happening with this shit? I know Cannon is an absolute true believer, but outside of that Iā€™m lost.

Opinions differ. I mean thereā€™s not really any reason to believe he is not getting convicted other than the Cannon factor and a gut belief that the system is incapable of holding him accountable for anything, neither of which are really quantifiable. I personally think heā€™s probably toast, but that might not be the majority view.

Is Trump getting convicted on at least one felony count? Assume he doesnā€™t die in the meantime.

  • Yes
  • No
  • I did everything right and they indicted meeeeeeeee

To me the real questions is even if he is convicted, does he suffer any actual consequences?

Or does he get probation or house arrest? I donā€™t see how they can actually put him in a prison.

Iā€™m still strongly on team ā€œhe will suffer no consequencesā€, but opinions vary.

Hopefully things are going well for you.

Pardoned with the agreement he canā€™t run for office.

I would consider house arrest an actual consequence.

Any plan that involves trump keeping his word should be burned.

I think if there is a completed trial for the documents case he gets convicted. What if that happens on like 11/20/2024, after heā€™s been elected? He wouldnā€™t take office until 1/20/2025.
