Here’s the thing. Technically, Cuse is right, but in the real world of first impressions, so is PH. When Castro came after Biden, there was literally a collective gasp and immediate cries of foul against Castro in the audience of 25 people at my debate party…and i don’t think a single one of them is a Biden supporter. The trouble is, that is what everyone remembers, and there’s no indepth analysis or comparing of what was actually said, or talking about plans, etc. It’s just “Castro was a meanie!”

Yeah, as for me personally…I honestly don’t care for either of them, but I hate personal attacks, so i find myself siding with the “Castro might have been right, but he was overly mean” side of this. Stick with critiquing policy.

It’s not ageism to point out Biden struggles to remember simple things mid sentence in nearly every answer.
I get that I have different sensibilities than a lot of other people though, and there’s no point in telling someone they shouldn’t have a certain visceral reaction to something like that.

To those concerned with the tone and feeling of Castro attacking Biden, my question is: are we really going to pretend Biden won’t get totally mocked and ridiculed by Trump? Are we really going to pretend that Biden is of sound mind and suited to be president in terms of his apparent cognitive ability in 2019?
