Democratic Primary Debates

Really?

No, you’re a bad poster cateface, you spread disinformation as the article I posted shows. Castro was wrong. Period. You bash media regularly. You advocated for the allowance of low brow attacks in the 2020 thread. You admit to not even watching these things as they happen but have big opinions about them (one of the congressional hearings and your takes are probably straight from the Chapo subreddit or other vile places). You don’t stick to facts. Your whole playbook is that of a Republican.

For Biden, this is personal. He believes that every American has a right to the peace of mind that comes with knowing they have access to affordable, quality health care. He knows that no one in this country should have to lay in bed at night staring at the ceiling wondering, “what will I do if she gets breast cancer?” or “if he has a heart attack?” “Will I go bankrupt?” He knows there is no peace of mind if you cannot afford to care for a sick child or a family member because of a pre-existing condition, because you’ve reached a point where your health insurer says “no more,” or because you have to make a decision between putting food on the table and going to the doctor or filling a prescription.

In the coming months, Joe Biden will build on today’s plan by rolling out his proposals to tackle some of our greatest public health challenges – from reducing gun violence to curing devastating diseases as we know them like cancer, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and addiction.

That’s from Biden’s site. So, yeah, I tend to buy that his plans do make exceptions for sick people. I also think UHC and Euro style welfare states are much more preferable to Biden’s plan.

None of the candidates plans seem to be very detailed. Sanders and Warren can’t really explain in full detail how their plans get paid other than Warren saying the rich will pay more. Obamacare wasn’t a thing during his campaign. He only mentioned rough ideas. It’s like you have no idea that most of the campaign platforms are just very rudimentary sketches of what is actually to come.

It’s obvious he was responding on the fly to an attack.

C’mon man. It’s true bc he said it, really?

I mean sure his surname is borrowed from the world’s first murderer but he can hardly be held responsible for that.

He just sounds like a guy you’d see working a bbq pit cooking up delicious pork products

Yeah I wasn’t being serious.

Neither was he. Dude is a doofus cosplaying militia. The fact that he doesn’t recognize what his rhetoric can spark is par for the course as a derper.

We all are bro.

We all are. (Note: I don’t believe in religion.)

His son died of cancer. I’ll give Joe credit for taking on cancer and preventing people with cancer from dying. It’s part of the reason Castro looked like an asshole. Go look outside these forums.

His son dying of cancer was the supposed reason he didn’t run last time.

I know.

Ok how about this: I’ll bet you 50 bucks that when Biden comes out with specifics on his plan that there is no free, automatic enrollment into his Medicare/public option that is not tied to income/financial status for cancer patients or other sick people. Free meaning no premiums, no deductibles.

When he says “nobody should have to worry about paying for cancer treatment” what he means is that once you’ve depleted your finances or if you’re already low income, you can get in for free or with subsidies.

Circling back to this.

Understand your enemy. There’s a lot of them that fit this description that will cheerfully murder you if you take the wrong side.

Anyone who orders creamy cole slaw with bbq deserves what they get.

Apparently Biden’s teeth were close to falling out at one moment during the debate, that’s why it looked like he was chomping down / chewing on something

Also LOL at the idea that if I don’t watch a fucking 7 hour congressional hearing live that I can’t have opinions on it. I do not frequent the chapo subreddit (although I briefly did in the past before realizing it was not a place for me), and other than occasionally browsing twitter (maybe once or twice a month) this is really the only “social media” political outlet I read.

You came marching in here malding about post debate analysis and the media and were factually wrong about what transpired between Biden and Castro. It’s very obvious you got your opinion from some source that wasn’t the actual debate. Same deal with the congressional hearing where you were wrong on Exiled. I frankly don’t believe you.

I am not factually wrong about a god damn thing. Biden lied about his plan and got called out on it. I don’t remember what you’re talking about with the congressional hearing, so who knows.

Yes, you were factually wrong. You proclaimed Castro was right, he wasn’t. And then you proceeded to shift goal posts all over the place. Seriously go do work for Republicans.

Castro said you need to buy into Biden’s plan. You do, in fact, need to buy into Biden’s plan. I’ve offered you a fair bet if you think that Biden just hasn’t released the details of his “if you’re sick actually it’s all free” exemption.

Fuck right off with the continued “Republican talking points” bullshit.

You’re the one marching in and thumping your chest when you had no clue what the actual objection to Castro was, and started attacking the media. You seriously are on that Fox News level shit with that kind of behavior. Eat a bag of dicks if you don’t like it or change your behavior (as in don’t march into threads when it’s obvious you didn’t watch the debate or hearing or w/e and spout off at the mouth).

Obv that must be where you get your Republican talking points, from those chapo fellows.

How is that going to work in real life with insurance companies.

No healthy people opt in

Oh I get sick

Ok I’ll opt in now so cover my billion dollar treatments

It’s more fantasy land than M4A is

We need to get the insurance companies out of the picture.
