Democratic Primaries 2020 - With a whimper

There is no way this is true, wtf.

A bunch of people hopped off the Warren train around the M4A remarketing and the staged and calculated war with Bernie time.

I feel like the people who never left team W are mostly happy itā€™s anyone but Bernie.

yeah, im not talking about people who rightfully jumped off when she started showing her ass last year. iā€™m talking about the ones who supported her hard in this thread and have still been on the train.

I wonder what percentage of the forum supported the war in 2003.

last time it came up in this thread a month ago it was clovis and trolly bothsidesing and muddying the waters. microbet was providing most of the pushback along with some likes from the good eggs in the forum.

a week after that, iron posted that the eDems have moved to the left on the iraq war

if you search ā€œbiden iraqā€ youā€™ll see precious few posts criticizing

i donā€™t think itā€™s as clear cut as you say

Yea man all of us who supported Warren when she had nearly the exact same platorm as Bernie were doing it because she is just so charming and charismatic.

3.5-4 imo

I wonder what percentage supported the initial air strikes against Afghanistan in Sept. 2001.

I literally almost volunteered for the military in 2001 but thankfully GWB saved me and started talking about invading Iraq immediately so I didnā€™t. My politics were not much different then granted I had a lot of different opinions about specific policies.

You all have your own reasons, but some of you are Party Loyalists who hate Bernie because heā€™s not a Democrat. Itā€™s not really about policy.

So why are all these people supporting Warren instead of Biden or Kamala or Pete?

And where did Bernieā€™s 45% of the vote in 2016 come from?

I suppose most people preferred Warren to Biden, Kamala or Pete initially for policy reasons.

The second question is from left field. We were talking about people on this forum (and only a pretty small subset here - people who stuck with Warren all the way) and now youā€™re talking about all primary voters.

Iā€™ll fully come out in favor of calling Biden a warmonger.

In 2003 I was 17 so I remember not feeling knowledgeable enough to have a strong position on the war, but I know that by 2004 I was rooting for Dean.

Since youā€™re only 34 Iā€™ll start cutting you some slack.

I wasnā€™t here in January/February so I donā€™t know who support(ed) who. I thought you were making a general point about Warren voters.

You know the former probably has to do with her taking employment and listing herself as a former press secretary in her profile

There were two polls and it went from Liz and Bernie being the leaders with Liz maybe having a slight edge to Bernie being way way out in front in a pretty short span - right when Liz changed the way she talked about M4A and had that choreographed feud with Bernie.

In 2002 I was a dumb fuck college student and it was clear as day to me the Iraq War was bullshit. Anyone paying even a little attention knew by like Spring 2002 they were going to invade Iraq, and that it was all bullshit.
