I forget who mentioned it earlier, but billionaires taking votes away from Biden and giving Bernie the nomination has got to be one of my favorite stories for 2020. It actually seems super plausible.

We’ll see. Bernie probably needs 50%+ or close to it anyway, so the billionaires are probably just borrowing Biden votes, not taking them.

Obama spewing out the Republican talking points because a candidate happens to support New Deal policies is just indisputable proof that the DemE is no different than the GopE and it’s all just team sports and party allegiance. It’s 100% party over principle on both sides. The Democratic Party would flip back to being the Confederate Party at the drop of a hat if they thought it was what was in the Party’s interest.

Yeah I really doubt Obama is going to do more than make veiled comments about going too far left like he already has. Hopefully I’m not wrong about that… and even if he was considering it the backlash he’s going to get from other people suggesting it will probably make him think better of it. Obama is not stupid. This would be really stupid.
