Yeah what’s mediating that relationship? Is it simply that they take those cues from local elected leadership very strongly, i.e., Clyburn endorsement? He endorsed Hillary in 2016 and Kerry in 2004 but did not endorse Obama in 2008. Kerry lost the AA vote narrowly to Edwards but they both edged out Sharpton by a considerable margin. Clyburn has a pretty strong record now of endorsing the establishment sock puppet cupcake for president.

One of the people they mentioned in San Diego was planning on voting for Pete, and knew the down ballot local races needed more help, in particular a city council race. I have no idea to what extent they were using BB’s money, but every dollar helps!

Bernie wasn’t against Joe’s campaign. You forgot to mention he was against the coordinated Pete/Klob bump and of course the massive DNC machine. The actual Biden campaign efforts were clearly the least of it.

It’s still not enough and Victor was right. I have thread upon thread on facebook where a bunch of Lawbros, academics, and assorted hangers-on of smart people are going from Warren to Biden. I just post Love Me, I’m a Liberal and let them be.
I do expect Warren’s voters to go to Bernie like 60-40 at most. Not enough to make a difference. Biden is going to get a larger pile of Bloomberg voters at a higher rate. (And yes I know that poll didn’t include Bloomberg. Bernie eeks out a win in WA, a state he needs to crush.)
