This poll means it’s over. Biden dying or having a serious medical issue the level of a stroke are the only things that prevent him from being the nominee at this point.
OH and FL are likely Trump. I think WI is likely tossup. That’s only assuming the Dems are able to run a remotely competent campaign for Biden via surrogates.
Media would have just spent 100% of the time on their Bernie is a Communist story line.
The media pushed the toxic Bernie bro thing in 16, it was inevitable either way. A few thousand Twitter accounts made no difference.

What are you basing that on? RCP averages have Biden ahead of Trump in PA and FL.

Same. I dunno about PA but have no doubt, polling be damned, that the absolute filth that lives in FL will vote for Trump again.
If Biden wins PA and Trump wins FL, Biden needs one of WI or AZ to put him over the top as likely tipping point state. Up to everyone here how confident that makes them.
At the same time, as awful as I feel about this race, if Biden has a real chance in FL that Bernie did not, that is actually a huge selling point for him with regard to electability.
I think, though, that Sanders has a better chance bringing in AZ and an outside chance at TX. Plus, I think assigning MI to Biden at this point is misunderstanding that state.
You seem to think they need an excuse. It worked last time, that’s their excuse.
It’s a lazy attack, it rigns sorta true because everybody’s an asshole on the internet. Somebody show me some data that says Bernie’s supporters are worse than anybody else’s. Until then I’m calling bullshit on the whole thing.

I might be wrong, but I don’t think anything that was done by the DNC and/or MSM was surprising. Nothing was unexpected. The general thought was that Bernie can overcome it. There was nothing out of left field. No new tactics. We expected all of it and still got clobbered.

I really didn’t expect Pete and Amy to both drop out and endorse Joe before Super Tuesday. Combined with the media narrative of Bernie the Unelectable Commie, and the belief that the Ds really truly believed in their hearts that Bernie was an existential threat, the Trump of the left, such that all would sacrifice their personal ambitions and join together to stop him was sold as hard as possible. In Dirty D strategist lingo, Bernie was successfully “otherized.”
In reality, the only thing Bernie was an existential threat to was the $$$$ and power of the corrupt, and Pete and Amy drastically increased their personal fortunes by accepting Joe’s bribe.
I mean, I hoped that the voters would see the truth but not surprised they didn’t, they don’t follow this shit a fraction as closely as we do. And the MSM had Bernie blacked out to prevent his response from getting out.

I’m not mad that the Democrats ruthlessly coalesced around the moderate candidate. I’m mad that they are, it is now obvious, competent at such things. It makes this horror show even more enraging.

Actually, the “otherizing” had long been in the works with Bloomer “benevolently” spending his vast fortune to stop the Communist Threat that was sweeping through the nation. When the voters saw through Bloomer, Everyman Pete and Amy were bought off to complete the job.
