Bernie, in responding to a question of “how will you control your bros”, points out that other candidates supporters can also be assholes online and gets his loudest applause of the night.
His answers to this line of questioning have been really good.
I would be absolutely fucking shocked if Bloomberg actually gave Bernie money. I think he’ll still drop lots of money on getting dems elected in congress. Hopefully in the senate. Probably a bunch on centrist dems in safe areas too though. But I highly doubt he gives Bernie a bunch of money.
I’d much, much rather use random billionaire $ on down ticket races (and hope he doesn’t continue to support a ton of GOP candidates at local levels).
Just be honest about how Bloomberg can put out ads for issues or anti-Trump or w/e and Bernie can’t stop him, but he is not coordinating with any PACs or SuperPACs. If Bloomberg wants to donate $27, that’s fine.
There was also a question about what AOC said about maybe needing to compromise a public option with M4A. Bernie gave AOC a lot of praise, but then said that M4A was already a compromise, because of the 4 year transition.

From what I could find she had a surrogate who lobbied the DNC to let Bloomberg debate but Bernie also had a surrogate pushing for it, both arguing it’s better to let him get grilled during a debate than just blast out ads and get his message to voters unchallenged.
I’m not commenting on that strategy, but that tweet is bad coming from someone who acted to put him in the debates (assuming she had any input/control over the surrogate).
