A person on a different forum I frequent related getting a sudden case of COVID so severe he couldn’t breathe on his own and had to rush to the hospital. Doctor told him he was an hour away from dying had he not come.
He’s a fit, young, healthy individual and he was fully vaccinated in April.
Anyone have a mild dry cough as a side-effect following their vaccine?
A week after the vaccine I hard a gnarly cold. Doesn’t make sense that it was a side effect but honestly I had like no contact so I don’t know. Same thing happened with my uncle who got the vaccine

You cannot get a cough from the vaccine. If you have a cough, it’s from something else.

Average age for ventilated covid pts in my hospital right now is 44. Several of the youngest don’t have significant comorbidities.

Are any of the vaccinated ones in really bad shape?
Are you privy to their vaccination status? If so, are the vented younger patients mostly unvaccinated?
No one who is vaccinated is fucked up without a major preexisting condition like immune compromised.

All three men are charged with third-degree trespassing. A conviction could lead to a sentence of up to 30 days in jail.
They are scheduled to be arraigned in court Sept. 15.

Shit there’s a lot of coughing going on. Wouldn’t be surprised if students in multiple classes currently have covid but it’s just not bad enough to stay home. Tomorrow, there will be another round of covid testing. Pretty sure that at some classes will be moving online once those results are in.
Anyway pandemic is getting bad now. There should be more restrictions implemented now. Number of daily cases is the highest since late May. Percentage of positive tests highest since the middle of May. Reproduction rate is the highest since the beginning of July. Hospitalizations went up 33% in one day. Only getting 10,000 people vaccinated per day now when it used to be over 100,000.
I mean this was predictable. I didn’t think it would happen this quickly but then again I didn’t know that there’d be 2 superspreader events so close to each other. Combine that with students in school and inadequate handling of the pandemic in schools and this is what you get.
