COVID-19: Chapter 9 - OMGicron

Sure if LFS is gonna tell me he’s as strong and fast as Josh Gordon, then I’ll back off my overweight statement.

I don’t know what he looks like, but based on previous descriptions I just assumed that’s not the case.

I’m 6’1. I once did one of those dunk tank things that said my lean body mass was 191 lbs. (I was on testosterone and it might have been off but w/e you get the idea.) Going by that, if I was 15% bodyfat I’d still be obese according to the charts.

My problem is I think my head weighs like 50 lbs all by itself.

I literally need to get to 180 lbs to not be overweight according to the charts. I would be absolutely shredded at 180 lbs.

Why is everyone here so tall?

6 months looks to be the cut-off, IMO - 25% to 33% = average fully vaxxed of total UK daily cases

Growth hormones in fast food.

Wat.

BMI for 6’1" doesn’t get above 25 until you hit 190 lbs.

I don’t think those charts are accurate for muscular people because BMI doesn’t differentiate between muscle and fat.

Dunk tanks aren’t very accurate. I got measurements that were different by 5% within the same week (and I wasn’t actively trying to manipulate results). DEXA scan is better. Of course, no one is DEXA scanning at <= 5%.

BMI scale is fine for the vast majority of people. There obviously some extremely muscular professional athletes that break the scale (Maurice Jones-Drew is the quintessential example). I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that you and LFS aren’t among those people.

I fixed the post. I was looking at 5’1 lol.

Bringing the UP average down. 5’9" here. But an absolutely enormous penis.

There are also just people with huge heads and big frames. I am one of those people. Also if I even work out a little my muscles balloon. Maybe it’s water or whatever, I’m definitely not super strong, but it still shows up on the scale.

They aren’t. It’s self-selection.

Tall men talk more about height.

Even huge head and big frame, there is no way you are going to dexa scan at 5% (I’ll even give you sub 10%) and have BMI in the obese range.

Even if you roided up and lifted like it was your job, it would be hard.

I was looking at the chart wrong. 191+15% is obese for 6’1.

Let’s say 180 is my real lean body mass when I’m working out hard, like I am now. 20% BF, which I would kill for, would still be borderline obese.

I’m 52, I know I gain a lb a year just in bone density. 220 on me know looks skinnier than 190 did when I was 20. I think I’m right at the peak bone density age before it starts going down.

so that’s what the username means.

I have had the following symptoms since Monday. Headache, nasal drip. Minor cough b/c of that shit running down my throat. Today I tested positive via the rapid test. Also took a Pcr at the same time. I have been double vaxed with Pfizer since mid April.

Is that absolute or relative adjusted to your puny stature. (5-10 1/2 happy to have someone set bar low enough to clear).

It’s relative to my internal thoughts. It’s not relative to a ruler or any other measuring device.
