If you don’t have job responsibilities, that’s a blessing, not a curse.
I’ve mentioned here before that there does seem to be a disparity between how virulent this thing is and how (relatively) few people seem to have been pozzed. What exactly is going on is very complicated and I think it’s not super responsible for Nate to make these conclusions about natural immunity.
I have consulted with the experts and put together a state of the art model on the chances Nate is not being super responsible.

I’m so bummed out these days I barely even look at porn. This is 100% about maybe something happening with this girl and us staying travel buddies at least. Traveling with a girl is like night and day vs. traveling by yourself. You meet tons more people - including lots of couples.
When you’re by yourself everyone is worried you’re a sex tourist or a serial killer. They know you’re probably fine. But there’s just that little bit of doubt so that they’re not going to risk hanging out except in a public place for a limited time. I can always feel the vibe.

The one serious gf I’ve had in 20 years of living in LA didn’t like to travel. It was one of our biggest sticking points.

Well IHME dude said last night they don’t have us getting to 3K daily cases til January, so…
Well everyone in my house ended up getting COVID but it seems we’ll all be fine. I’d say we got extremely lucky that we only had one and a half days of bad symptoms and then mostly just loss of appetite.
As for the source - my kid’s daycare for sure and unfortunately it’s a risk we had to take. He got sick first on Thanksgiving and we got hit on Saturday.

It appears possible my boss who came to work sick pozzed another employee. The guy he exposed developed symptoms on day 10 since contact with the boss and got Covid confirmation today. His wife had surgery the day after he became symptomatic.

Here is a blow up of cases from world o meters. I’d just say so far it’s looking like the slope is catching up to a more smooth continuation of before Tday. Also would need to try and look at %positive increase as I think we are collectively concerned that testing is getting limiting which will suppress the growth rate.
I think we can safely infer there has been no plateau or even a slow down. Only thing to see if there is a speed up.
