Disagree on this one, we’re now 8 months since shit hit the fan in NYC, and we’ve yet to see large scale second infections.
You think it’s permanent? (And I’ll include that second, third, etc bouts are basically like the common cold.)
Not many people get flu twice in year. The fact only a small amount of people have been reinfected doesn’t mean much to me.
Probably not permanent. But memory B-cells and t-cell immunities suggest that there’s going to be some sort of long term resistance beyond a year, if not immunity.
My mom just said her school goes back to full capacity after Thanksgiving break…
Wtf the gif wont even appear let alone work.
Yeah I think we would have many more examples if it was wide spread. It might be a more rare thing like what can happen with chicken pox. I got it twice as a kid, but it is abnormal. It could be something to do with low viral load and not building up a proper response or something. I know the one anecdote of one of my wife’s patients that was positive > negative and then positive again after a long time was that they were barely symptomatic if at all first time, 2nd time very sick.
Yeah, there’s been good evidence in the literature of long-term immunity in SARS patients.
I’m not understanding the hate on Rand Paul here (besides knocking Dr. Fauci and claiming he will act differently post election). I think people that have already gotten covid should feel fine living their life as normal and that would help the economy. Although, I would probably still wear a mask just so I don’t stress other people out.
I think people that have already gotten covid should feel fine living their life as normal and that would help the economy.
Because this isn’t practical or proven safe.
also fuck rand paul, stand for nothing pos
Sure. Iirc, dude went to the Senate gym while he was waiting on test results, so the health of other people is clearly not a high priority.
Was it Rand or Ron that got the shit kicked out of him by his next door neighbour? That was funny.
And yet Ontario is currently better off than everywhere in US and Canada other than the maritimes and far North
Rand. Ron raised gold bullion for his recovery.
I assume jagsfan.gif?
Did this fix it?
Nope, still not there
Yeah, getting it may not guarantee you have immunity.
It was meant to be this one though lol:
I think people that have already gotten covid should feel fine living their life as normal and that would help the economy.
Can everyone everywhere please stop using this term?
Tilts me to no end.
