You should frequent these forums more. It would improve your understanding of this disease dramatically.
In short, you’re not the first to come up with that idea, and based on the available evidence and our knowledge of the condition, it is almost certainly not something that was developed as a biological weapon. And I’m being generous by putting the ‘almost’ in there.

Had a dentist appointment yesterday. They are taking many precautions. Temperatures check, screening questions, mask must be worn at all times except of course when they are working on you. I canceled my last appointment in March because Corona and I did not want to go another 6 months without a cleaning so I went.
Today while I was at the park with my kid I notice a missed call from my dentist. I was like o snap theyare calling me because the hygienist pozzed or something.
So I call back and they were just calling to confirm my sons appointment Monday.

Occam’s Razor is “don’t needlessly multiply entities” which should lead you to the conclusion that this is a natural event.
If one wanted to create a pandemic in a lab, one would create a recombinant influenza, not create an entirely new coronavirus. Covid is also totally useless as a bioweapon.

On top of that, there have been other viruses (presumably of natural origin) that had downstream health effects.

What available evidence is there to show it is almost certainly not something developed as a biological weapon? Now granted, you’re replying to a militant atheist and am the first to understand that I am the one who’s making a claim, so therefore, I’m the one that needs to provide evidence to support that claim
Without looking up the exact definition, I’m pretty sure another definition is "when looking for an explanation absent definite evidence, go with the simplest explanation (or something like that). Again, I realize I’m making a claim that has no evidence to back up. It just seems the simplest explanation to me
I’m not a biologist and not sure if other SARs lie dormant for up to 14 days making a patient asymptomatic before ravaging the respiratory system. I tried Googling it, but most results had to do with coronavirus. I also don’t know of another virus that is capable of causing a person’s own immune system to do more damage than the virus itself
Yeah, I’m talking out of my ass here because I’m not a doctor and know very little about it. Feel free to point me to links, info, or educate me yourself. But I do know a bit more than the average layman about evolutionary theory. And this virus seems to have skipped a few steps in the mutation process. To my knowledge, nature just doesn’t work that way. It makes all the sense in the world that this virus was created in a lab. Please don’t tell me you think countries (the USA included) don’t work in conjunction with other countries on developing biological warfare. I’m convinced this is a weapons grade virus that somehow got out of a lab and did not occur naturally
The Spanish Flu caused ‘cytokine storms’, which is an example of a virus using the stronger immune systems of healthier/middle aged people against them, and they did die at greater rates than those with weaker immune systems, to answer one of your 12 questions.

I really need to pull the trigger on going to the Dentist, but i’m a little shook. I neglected my teeth for years and finally got back on track precovid. I guess I need to just roll with it and hope for the best.

you are right of course. poland almost beat him in most recent elections, and afaik noone claimed it was falsified. but they still have a lot of work to do wrto law&justice party.
And sadly I’m still jealous

I hate this because it’s so morbid, but we are drawing live to 3,000 Deaths per day by inauguration when you factor in al the big holidays plus lag.
