It’s hard to believe that a government that was so good at the outset is now so bad.
Public health has given way to politics in Europe. No one in office cares about covid. They only care about what covid looks like to the people. No way will there be a lockdown again. Hell, the Czech government is already going the Donald Trump route of fewer tests, fewer cases.
Not to anyone who saw how avidly free market most Czechs were after decades of Soviet rule.
After Havel went politics moved further and further rightwards.

Yeah, Vaclav Klaus was a proto-Trump politician in that they are both old conspiracy theorists who hate gay people. His son’s new political party is basically the GOP on steroids. Just reading their platform to a deplorable would cause them to orgasm.
People aren’t contagious for a few days so very very unlikely anybody contagious today got it this weekend.

Several years ago I attended a bachelor party at which one guy spent 12 hours straight in the Spearmint Rhino, after which he abandoned all his luggage in his room and had to go straight to the airport to catch his flight. On this same trip, another guy passed out playing slots at the airport and missed his flight.
Anyway:
It’s been a while since I went to Vegas to party and not work or play poker, but when i did, the group would always end up at a strip club. Turns out it’s a great place for a drink after hours, and they don’t charge women to get in, so that’s a bonus, too.
There was the one time I was there for a wedding and the entire group did some mushrooms and ended up at the Rhino where the guys paid for the girls in the group to get lap dances. All I really remember is the pretty lights, though. lol shrooms.

Yes. Anywhere from 10-50 bucks. It has happened three times that I can remember. All at caesar’s properties.
How do they benefit? Are they able to keep the difference somehow? Seems difficult with all of the cameras in the area.
yeah id chalk that up to a poor/inexperienced employee(s) more than malice.
For money left behind/being out at the end of the night you’re now filling out 10+ minutes of paperwork and recounting everything. Most people aren’t dumb enough to risk their job over a few hours pay when there are dozens of cameras
Pocket a green chip here and there? E.g. I try to cash out $450, they give me $425, pocket the green chip. I don’t think it would be hard to do.
I can buy that it wasn’t on purpose. But it’s happened 3 times. Now, alcohol was definitely a factor and when I’m drunk I tend to just dump as many chips as I can into my pockets and jacket pockets and palm the rest, and throw them all onto the counter… but I expect this is an operation these guys do 1000 times a day so how can you fuck it up?
It’s probably just me taking out my hatred of casino companies onto a poor dude making $9/hr on a graveyard shift.
I think if a cashier gets caught pocketing any money while in the cage they get fired immediately. There is no way any casino can allow that. And I’m sure that there are a ton of cameras on them from every angle. So the chances of getting away with it are very low. It would be just about the dumbest crime imaginable.
I can speak from experience here - when you work a crappy public facing job make less than 10 bucks an hour you dont really give a flying fuck about being fired. Some days you wish it would happen.
